The purpose of this page is just to inform inquisitive minds of the colour of belts corresponding to the particular grades within this organisation (EKSK). It should be remembered that the colour of a belt is just an internal measure of karate competence; there is no standardised measure between different organisations.

Such standardisation is not crucial, as one should remember that the quality of a karateka is not dependent on the belt, suit or even clothes he or she wears. Train your hardest and let others (including myself) worry about assigning tags to symbolise your ability.

A black belt is not something you should strive to have,

It is something you should strive to be.
