    2. Smoking and eating will not be permitted in the Dojo.

    3. Members should at all times make a personal effort to ensure that their do-gis are washed and pressed regularly.

    4. Fingernails and toenails must be cut regularly so as to prevent injury to other members.

    5. Articles of value should not be left in the changing rooms as the instructor and treasurer cannot be held responsible for articles that are subsequently lost, damaged or stolen.

    6. Rings, watches, necklaces and other personal adornments must be removed prior to each training session as these items are liable to cause injury to other members.

    7. Members train at their own risk. The instructor and treasurer will not accept any liability for any injuries incurred whilst training.

  2. Lateness

Members are urged to arrive at least five minutes before the training session begins, allowing themselves time to change. However, members who do arrive late should wait at the side seated in sei-za until the instructor indicates that they are allowed to join the class.

  3. Grading
